Superstar undergoes Knee surgery

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has undergone arthroscopic surgery of the left knee today.

He was operated at private hospital in Mumbai and doctors has stated that the surgery was successful and has also advised SRK complete rest for 3-4 days.

Arthroscopy and joint replacement surgeon Dr Sanjay Desai conducted the surgery at the city-based hospital.#GetWellSoonSRK has been trending on Twitter since news broke.

Shah Rukh thanked all his fans using twitter.‘’Do they do Frequent Fliers Miles in Hospitals? If yes, I would own some of the hospitals! Thx all for standing by me as I pray on my knees…’’ The 49-year-old actor is currently shooting Rahul Dholakias Raees and Shah Rukh is expected to resume shooting after a short break.The actor had been through many injuries.

During the promotion of Farah Khans Happy New Year in 2014, he hurt his knee.He even shot Yash Rajs Fan despite a muscle pull.
