Sunanda Pushkar was murdered: Delhi Police

A sudden twist was raised almost a year after the death of MP Shashi Tharoors wife Sunanda Pushkar.

Delhi Police on Tuesday said that Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar was murdered and her death was unnatural and was because of poisoning Delhi police commissioner Bassi said Sunandas death was due to poisoning and that they were registering a murder case to investigating into the death.

He said the poisoning could be due to oral or injected.Police have changed the case from suicide to murder and they filed an FIR under section 302 in the case.

However, no one has been named in the FIR.The police also said that Shashi Tharoor will be questioned.Pushkar was found dead in her hotel room number 345 of the Leela Palace in New Delhis Chanakyapuri.

Her body was found by her husband Shashi Tharoor.The doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences gave a preliminary autopsy report that revealed injury marks on her body.

They said that these injuries may or may not be the cause of death.However few days later AIIMS doctor Sudhir Gupta claimed that he was pressured to give a false report in the case.
