Mumbai, Dec 6, : Sumet Raghavan & Pariva Pranati talk about the upcoming sequence of the show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya-Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey.’ It will highlight the mental and emotional turmoil of their son Atharva Wagle, played by Sheehan Kapahi.
The show deals with the problems and struggles of a middle-class family.It stars Sumet Raghavan, a manager at Rajesh Wagle’s courier company, and Pariva Pranati, an actress, as Vandana Wagle .In the next episodes viewers will see the effects of the traumatic incident Atharva went through and how it affected him. Sumeet Raghavan plays the role of Rajesh Waghle.He says that mental health is often ignored and not taken seriously.However, ignoring it can negatively impact our entire wellbeing.
“The Wagle family is relieved that Atharva has returned home safely.The battle is not over.
A traumatic incident can cause emotional and mental turmoil, especially for small children.This is what we as a family must deal with now.As a parent, I encourage my children to share their problems and try to be open and honest with them.”
” I share a similar bond as the children on the show.We are there for them, and we will sail through the good and the bad together.It will be interesting to see how the family helps Atharva get through this phase,” he adds.
Pariva Pranati further says that it is very important for kids to share their problems with parents openly and this is what is highlighted in the particular sequence of the show.
“I am playing my part and contributing towards bringing awareness around mental health.While we tend to focus on our physical health, we often avoid talking about our emotional problems.It is important to maintain a balance between these two.Atharva, who was his age, had experienced something more than distressing.The kidnapping has severely affected his mental health.To get through this difficult situation, he will need the support and care of his family.”
” My son is still a toddler, but I want him to be able to come up and talk to me about any issue.My relationship with Sakhi is seamless and Atharva is seamless too.I will keep trying my best to support them and make them understand that it’s okay to talk about mental health,” she concludes.
