Student killed in US high school after being stabbed

Washington 2nd of September : A student was killed and another was injured in an incident of stabbing at an elementary school in the US state of North Carolina, police reportedA representative from the Jacksonville Police Department told reporters that officers were summoned to Northside High School just after 7 a.

m.on Thursday, in response to reports of an altercation physical between students on the campus, according to Xinhua news agency.

Two students were admitted to hospital, however one of them "succumbed to injuries" according to the spokesperson.One student was detained as the incident is being investigated.

An employee was reported to have been injured, but it was believed to not have been attacked.The school was shut for the remainder of the day, and will hold a virtual class on Friday, a school official told the media.
