England Pacer Stuart Broad has reached a rare milestone.He has become the seventh bowler and the fourth pacer to take 500 test wickets after Muttiah Muralitharan (SL-800), Shane Warne (Aus-708), Anil Kumble (IND-619), James Anderson (ENG- 589), Glenn McGrath (Aus-563), and Courtney Walsh (WI- 519).
He has achieved it in just 14 years of his career.
The 34-year-old seam bowler has clinched the rare moment when he dismissed Kraig Brathwaite for an lbw.Interestingly, his fellow bowler James Anderson had also taken Brathwaite as his 500th wicket in 2017.With a remarkable 10-67, and a quick 62 runs at No 10 Broad grabbed the Player of the Match and Player of the Series titles.
