Vedanta’s VGCB Donates Medical Equipment To Vizag’s King George Hospital

Vizag, 24 June 2022: In An Attempt To Boost Health Infrastructure In Visakhapatnam, Vedanta’s Vizag General Cargo Berth (VGCB) Has Provided Medical Support To The City’s King George Hospital.

As Part Of Its CSR Initiative, The Company Donated A Cardioline Holter Monitor To The Cardiology Department Of The Hospital.

The Device Was Handed Over To The Hospital Superintend Dr.P.

Sateesh Kumar.Also Present At The Event Were Dr.

Malladi Srinivasa Rao, Head Of Cardiology Department, King George Hospital, And Dr.Shirin Rahman, Local Influencer.

Dr.Srinivas Thanked VGCB For The Benevolent Gesture And Said That The Medical Device Will Benefit Patients As Well As Students.

A Holter Monitor Is A Portable Device That Is Used For Assessing The Cardiac Monitoring -electrical Activity Of The Cardiovascular System.

The Device Consists Of A Recorder That Can Record The Electrocardiography For Seven Days.Health Is One Of The Major Thrust Areas Of Vedanta’s CSR Initiatives.

The Larger Objective Of This Initiative Is To Create Quality Healthcare Facilities For The Communities Around And To Support Upgradation Of Hospital Infrastructure For PG Education.
