Mantralayam Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math A 52-foot statue of Lord Rama was erected under the patronage of Shri Subhudhendra Tirtha Swami, Chairperson of the Shri Math.

The monolithic idol of Lord Rama, which left Pilligundla village in Madakashira zone of Anantapur district in a special vehicle of 156 tires last month, reached Mantralayam on Saturday.

Shri Subhudhendra Tirtha Swami, Chairperson of Shri Math welcomed the vehicle with special pujas.Vedic scholars chanted mantras and a monolithic procession of Lord Rama amidst the instruments of Mars was held as a festival of the eyes.
