Stalin hopes that TN will become a global IT center

Stalin expressed his hope that the state will become a global centre of information technology (IT) owing largely to his governments policiesHe inaugurated the 20th edition CII Connect 2021 here and assured that the government would consult the industry to solve any issues that could hinder industrial growth.The CIIConnect 2021 is an International Conference & Exhibition on Information and Communication Technology.

It was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry in partnership with the Tamil Nadu government and the Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu.Stalin hoped that the IT sector would help to bring the states economy to $1 trillion.

He stated that the government is now focusing on infrastructure development because of the growth in the industrial sector and the urbanization.The government is implementing projects such as metro rail expansion, new airports and road network construction.

He stated that the government is implementing various reforms to make it easier to do business through a single clearance system.He stated that all local bodies in the state would be connected via broadband connectivity, and that the government wants IT to be present in all spheres such as agriculture and industry.
