Asalanka is called up by Sri Lanka for West Indies Tests and Chameera Returns

Colombo : Nov 19, 2009 - Charith Asalanka has been selected for the home-series against West Indies.He was the top scorer for Sri Lanka at the T20 World Cup.

Dushmantha Chamela, who missed the Test series against Bangladesh because of personal commitments had returned to the series.Lahiru Thirimanne and Niroshan Dickwella are also notable absences.

Dickwella currently has a ban from England for violating the bio-bubble.The side has seen several call-ups, with Minod Bhanuka and Chamika Karaunaratne both returning.

Three uncapped players are also part of the squad: Kamil Mishara and Suminda Lekshan.Chamika Gunasekara is not included in this group.
