He was allegedly threatening a subinspector prior to the inauguration of a BJP Office in Kanpur earlier this month.
Yadav allegedly threatened Pawan Mishra on Tuesday, threatening him to tear up his badge after he removed the protest banner he had hung outside the newly constructed BJP office.

Police stepped in to protect Yadav after the viral video went viral.A case was filed against Yadav on Wednesday.

The video was shot at Barra police station.Yadav can been heard threatening the sub-inspector.

He said “Tum Jhanda Nochoge to Hum Billa Nochenge (If the flag is pulled down, I will yank off my badge).

Senior functionaries, including J.P.Nadda, the national president, and Yogi Adityanath, were to inaugurate the BJP office at Saket Nagar Naubasta.

Earlier, Samajwadi leaders had held a banner outside the newly built BJP office demanding a 100-bed hospital in the region.

The banner stated that land used to build the BJP office had been purchased from the Naubasta Maurang Mandi in order to build a hospital.

But, the BJP had built its office there.
