Six women cricketers from Sri Lanka test positive for COVID in Zimbabwe

Harare, Nov 28, : Six women cricketers from Sri Lanka who participated in a qualifying tournament for the World Cup in Zimbabwe were positive for COVID-19.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) stated that steps will be taken to bring the Sri Lankan womens cricket team from Zimbabwe back.The International Cricket Council decided to cancel the qualifying tournament for womens cricket in Zimbabwe after the discovery of a COVID-19 variant.
