YouTube personality Casey Neistat tweeted Wednesday, November 24, “So our cars were robbed this morning because Los Angeles has a crime-ridden 3rd world s**thole city.”

He expressed his gratitude to the L.A.Police Department, for arresting the criminal, and retrieving all the stolen items.”But tremendous appreciation to the @LAPDWestLA officers who not only arrested him but also got all of our stolen property back,” he said.

Rogen replied to the tweet with: “Dude, I’ve lived there for over 20 years. You’re crazy haha.He also rejected the notion that L.A.was a “crime-ridden 3rd world s**thole” and declared, “It is beautiful here.” It’s not worth anything. It’s called living big in a big city.

Neistat claimed that “i can still feel mad tho right?” Feel so violated.” Seth responded, “You can feel mad, but I don’t view my car as an extension or myself.I have never felt violated in any of the 15 times my car has been broken into.” I was once the victim of an accident that left a cool knife inside my car.If it continues, you might get a little treat.

The 39-year old then repeated his earlier statement, saying, “Also it suckers your s**t was stole but LA isn’t some s**thole municipality.” It has a lot to offer as a big city.

People quickly joined the conversation after seeing the conversation. Many accused Rogen of being privileged.

“I am also unbothered when one or more cars is broken into.I ask my assistant to fix it.What’s the big deal? Noam Blum, Tablet Magazine’s editor, sarcastically stated the following: He said, “Viewing crime in urban living as a quaint reality is like deer eating your vegetable gardens is some bulls**t Hollywood-goggles romanticization that has no redeeming value. It doesn’t require any loss of humanity to prevent.”

“You know, people talk a lot about how this or that statement embodies privilege’ and 95% of it’s total bulls**t.But this.yeah,” tweeted political commentator Cathy Young.Dylan Housman, a Daily Caller reporter, wrote that a multi-millionaire celebrity explains why your car was broken into and that you should get over it.

“Why is it okay? It may not seem like a big deal to someone who has [tremendous] financial resources, but it is for someone who is struggling. It could be the difference between making and not making it.It doesn’t matter what, the idea that it is just ok.costs of living.is.an unhealthy one,” Katherine Brodsky, entertainment journalist, said.

Another user wrote: “Lol, says the guy who lives far from the tent city homeless drugs users. It is inaccurate to say that the house has a lot of assets, as it has been stripped of more during its decline.Another person tweeted, “How about taking your privilege to do something about it?”

Several others, however, agreed with the actor’s assertion that the car theft didn’t justify someone giving the city this nickname.

Rogen responded to the heat on Twitter again after catching the heat.

He wrote: “A lot people come at me, talk s**t online hoping I’ll engage them publicly and give attention to them. But instead, I DM them telling them to go f**k privately. It’s much more fun.
