New Delhi : , November 12, 2012: The challenges relating to the availability of electronic components, as well as high operating and maintenance costs due to rising commodities prices, caused passenger vehicle sales to fall in October year over year.New Delhi, November 12th, 2008 : .In October, passenger car sales fell year-on-year due to challenges related to electronic parts’ availability and high operating costs.Accordingly, the sales of passenger vehicles fell to 2,26,353 units in October as compared to 3,10,694 units sold during the corresponding month of 2020.As a result, October saw a decrease in passenger vehicle sales to 226.353 units, compared with 310.1944 units during the same month in 2020.Accordingly, passenger vehicle sales fell to 226.353 units in October, as opposed to 310.1944 units during the comparable month of 2020.
On a sequential basis, October’s PV sales were higher than September ‘s level of 1,60,070 units.Comparatively, the October PV sales exceeded September’s 1,60,070 unit level.In order of sequentiality, October’s sales of PV units were more than those in September at 1,60,000.70.
