Mumbai, November 18th : .In an ongoing battle between super-snoop and narcotics supersleuths, Maharashtra Minister Nawab Mlik said on Thursday that Sameer Wankhede, NCB Zonal Director, was a Muslim as his School Leaving Certificates. The crusade was about how an NCB officer allegedly created a fake caste certification to secure a high-paying central job in the reserved category.In response, the Nationalist Congress Party National Spokesperson gave the purported School Learning Certificates of Wankhede that he used to leave one school and join another because he had changed his ‘changes of residence’ status.
He is the first from St.Paul High School Dadar.This was his Class 2 school.On June 27, 1986, he moved to Wadala as a result of moving to a different address.
As was customary in those days, the two handwritten certificates show identical details.They include Sameer Dawood Wankhede’s name, DoB 14-12-1979, in words, and the student’s religion of ‘Muslim.
These and other information have been submitted to the Hon.Bombay High court, which will issue interim orders today.Malik stated that Wankhede had been involved in fraud and was an expert at creating fake certificates.
Malik was countered by the Wankhede family who produced a computer-generated Brihanmumbai Municipal Certificate that shows Sameer’s name, Zahedbano mother and Dnyandeo Kachruji Wankhede father.
Malik dismissed these claims and pointed out that all original handwritten documents have been scanned by the BMC.The SLCs for the schools were also retrieved from the electronic records.
“Sameer Dawawde is the one who has been generating these fake certificates.” Malik stated that he had submitted all documents to the High Court and the Mumbai and Maharashtra Police Chiefs as well as the Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party.He demanded an investigation.
Wankhede, an IRS-2008 batch officer, is currently employed by NCB Mumbai.The NCP Minister stated that Wankhede will lose his job, which he obtained on the basis of furnishing fraudulent documents.More revelations are expected to expose the truth.
