Mumbai, Nov 28, 2008 : The trailer for ‘Atrangi Re’, starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, was a delightful treat for the audience.It boasts all the elements that a potboiler needs. The film’s first song, titled “Chaka Chak”, will be released by the makers in the voice Shreya Goshal.
Sara Ali Khan, the film’s leading lady, took to Instagram to share a sneak peak of the song through a poster.In the caption, she wrote: “Bihar Ki Chori Atrangi love Story Alag hai relation Jhatak Hai Iska Fashion.” But is shaadi Ke occasion Par karenge full celebration #ChakaChaka (sic)?
The poster shows Sara in a fluorescent saree set against the backdrop of wedding celebrations.A.R.composed the song.Rahman composed the song, and Shreya Ghoshal crooned it.The lyrics were written by Irshad Kamil.
This film is Rahman’s second collaboration post-‘Raanjhanaa’.The album is a mix of classical and folk songs.
