CPI-M Party Meetings: Sabarimala Temple, K-Rail Issues

Thiruvananthapuram : December 28th, 2008: The controversial K-Rail and Sabrimala Temple are at the forefront of all meetings of CPI-Ms ruling CPI-M.Members question the double standards of certain leaders.

He was the partys top leader in Pathanamthitta where the famous Sabarimala Temple is located until last month.It was made clear that while some do not go to temples until they have such positions, others are often seen there once theyre there.

Participants wanted to find out if the leaders are fooling them or the devotees.Ananthagopan, a man seen in front of the Sabarimala Temple on the last day of the festival season that lasted two months, was seen standing there.

The controversial K-Rail Project was another topic of discussion.Party workers and leaders failed to provide convincing answers as to why CPI-M opposes a high-speed rail project in Maharashtra while the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wants it to be built in Kerala.
