Johannesburg, Nov 28, : South African National Parks (SANParks), is accepting mass booking amendments from residents from various countries around the world in response to the banning of flights from certain western countries following the discovery of the Covid-19 variant A.1.1.529.
“We have decided that booked customers from countries that have imposed travel bans to South Africa won’t be charged any fees or penalties for amends or postponements for a 12-month span from the date of November 26, 2020, until the time that the travel bans are lifted,” Hapiloe Saleo, SANParks managing director of tourism development, Xinhua reported.
