Modys term has been extended until December 31 2024, a government official announced on SaturdayAccording to a notice released by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat on Saturday Modys term was extended until the 31st of December 2024 under the current terms and conditions according to the instructions of the Chairman of the Upper House.Mody who retired as an IRS officer, was appointed Rajya Sabha Secretary General in November 2021.
