RS adjourns for day in the absence of Oppn

New Delhi, Nov 30, : After the Opposition staged an occupation over Chairman M.Venkaiah Naidu refusing to lift the suspension of 12 MPs, the Rajya Sabhas proceedings were rescheduled for Tuesday.

Pralhad Joshi stated: "Ours are a Democratic government and our leader also very democratic so we dont want to run this House without the Opposition." They have boycotted it for one day, so let them return tomorrow to take up the bills.The government is open for constructive criticism.

The House was then adjourned by the Deputy Chairman until Wednesday at 11 a.m.Piyush Goyal, the Opposition Leader, blasted the Opposition and justified its decision.He also recounted the sequence of events that led to their suspension.
