The revised land value and registration charges by the Telangana state government will come into effect today.It is learned that for the first time after the emergence of Telangana, the TRS government revised the market value of agricultural and non-agricultural lands, plots and flats.
The state government divided the land into three slabs and increased its value by 50 per cent where the value of land is low, increased 40 per cent where the value of land is medium and 30 per cent where it is high.
Also, it modified the minimum value of the land.The state government increased the registration fee to 7.5 per cent.To this end, the Department of Stamps and Registrations has made changes to the Dharani Portal.
The government has already made it clear that those who book a slot for registration after July 20 on the Dharani portal will have to pay an additional fee along with the increased charges.
To this end, the state government has made the ‘Additional Payment on Account of Market Value (Additional Payments for Slots Already Booked)’ option available in the Dharani portal.
