Strike by 3 Delhi Hospital Resident Doctors

The resident doctors association of three top hospitals in the capital announced Friday that it will strike starting Saturday to protest the delay in the NEET PG2021 counsellingThese hospitals include Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital Hospital Hospital and Lady Hardinge Hospital.

In protest, doctors announced that OPD services would be withdrawn on November 27 "Why should doctors suffer from politically motivated policy updates by legislators? We demand urgent NEETPG counselling and recruitment! The Government must prepare for a NATIONWIDE INDEFINITE STRike by all doctors in the country."Most State RDAs have confirmed their participation," Dr Suvrankar Datta, General Secretary, Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA), tweeted "The already exhausted and overburdened Resident Doctors of the Nation fighting at the frontline of the COVID-19 Pandemic have waited patiently until date for some positive outcome of Supreme Court proceedings regarding the already delayed NEETPG 2021 counselling.

The official notice stated that there was no relief for their mental and physical distress with the next court hearing set for 6 January 2022.The notice stated that the residents urged the Supreme Court of India and the Union Government to take note of their grievances and take the necessary steps to expedite the NEET-PG2021 Counselling and admission process, and to speed up the court proceedings on an urgent basis.

The apex court is still considering the EWS quota criteria.SC has been assured by the Solicitor General that the NEET PG counselling will not take place until then.
