Chennai, Nov 28 : The release of film reviewer-turned-director ‘Blue Sattai’ Maran’s Tamil film, ‘Anti-Indian’, has now been postponed to December 10. The eagerly awaited film was initially scheduled to debut on December 3.
Sources close to the unit claim that the team decided to delay the film’s release due to severe thunderstorms in Tamil Nadu over the past few days.
A member of the film’s unit stated, “We had previously announced that our movie would be released December 3.There’s a slight change.
“There is a strong chance that the rains will continue into the first week in December and that films of major stars will also be releasing on December 3rd, there is a possibility that we may have difficulty getting the theatres that can screen our film.
According to a source, we have decided to delay our film’s release by one week to December 10.
The unit member stated that they had waited for the film for a long time and that waiting another week would not make any difference. However, they believe that the film will have a huge impact if it is released in sufficient theatres throughout the state.
