Beijing, Dec 8, 2008 : Chinese smartphone manufacturer realme will launch its ultra-premium smartphone “realme GT 2 Pro” with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor on December 9. The realme GT 2 Pro will become the company’s first smartphone to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.It is expected to retail for over $800 (Rs.59,500).
The new Snapdragon 8 is the first step into a new era in premium mobile technology.It features cutting-edge 5G, AI gaming, camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technologies to transform next-generation flagship devices.
Global OEMs and brands will adopt the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, including Black Shark and Honor, iQOO and Motorola, Nubia and OnePlus, OPPO and Redmi.Commercial devices are expected to be available by 2021.
The world’s first 5G modem/RF system, the Snapdragon X65 5G Mod-RF System, is now available.It supports 10 Gigabit download speeds.Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 Mobile Connectivity system supports the fastest Wi-Fi speeds — up to 3.6 Gbps — over Wi Fi 6 and 6E.This allows for smooth gaming and apps, the company claims.
The realme GT 2 Pro smartphone will likely include dual 50MP sensors as well as an 8MP camera.
A GR lens is expected to be included in the device.It will reduce ghosting, provide resistance against backlighting, and multi-coating all surfaces.
It is expected to have a 32MP front camera, a 5000mAh battery and 125W UltraDart charging.
The 6.8-inch 120Hz WQHD+ OLED display on the realme GT 2 Pro is possible.AnTuTu recently listed the device, which is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU and backed by 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
