Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor to power realme GT 2 Pro

New Delhi, Dec 1st : The latest flagship phone from realme GT 2 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

It features cutting-edge 5G, AI gaming, camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technologies to transform next-generation flagship devices "As a pioneer in technology and a leader in 5G, it is our motto that consumers are equipped with the latest technologies and be future-ready.Qualcomm Technologies collaboration on realme GT 2 Pro will create a unique 5G experience across all areas -- gaming, camera usage, or network," Madhav Sheth (CEO -- realme India, President -- realme International Business Group) stated in a statement.

Global OEMs and brands will adopt the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, including Black Shark and Honor, iQOO and Motorola, Nubia and OnePlus, OPPO and Redmi.Commercial devices are expected to be available by 2021.

The worlds first 5G modem/RF system, the Snapdragon X65 5G Mod-RF System, is now available.It supports 10 Gigabit download speeds.QualcommA FastConnect 6900 Mobile Connectivity System is included in Snapdragon 8.It supports the fastest Wi-Fi speeds, up to 3.6 Gbps, over Wi-Fi 6E.This allows apps and games to run smoothly even on multiple devices, according to the company.Recalling realme GT 2 Pro, the smartphone will be priced at more than $800 (Rs.59,500).The smartphone will likely include dual 50MP sensors as well as an 8MP camera.

A GR lens is expected to be included in the smartphone.It will reduce ghosting, provide resistance against backlighting, and multi-coating all surfaces.
