Puri Jagannath Temple visited by the Governor of RBI

Bhubaneswar : Nov 22, : Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta das, along with his wife, went to Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri Monday morning.

The RBI Governor spoke to Puri media representatives and said that he was returning to the temple for the first time in six years.My wife and I feel blessed to have been able to get darshan from Lord Jagannath and Balabhadra, Maa Subhadra, and Lord Jagannath.

A three-day Yagna was started in Puri as part of the inauguration of "Bhumi Pujan" (groundbreaking ceremony) for the heritage corridor project at the temple.Within a radius of 75 metres of the Meghanada Pacheri temple, the project will be implemented.

For the project, Rs 800 crore has been allocated by the state government.According to religious legend, Gajapati King Dibyasingh Deb was the chief servitor at the temple and gave fiveshrotriya Brahmins the task of performing the three-day Yagna.
