Rajinikanth dials Kamal Haasan to inquire about his health.

Chennai, November 23, : Megastar Rajinikanth called Tuesday on fellow screen legend Kamal Haasan to inquire about his condition.

He had been admitted after he tested positive for Covid-19 and was taken to a private facilityAccording to sources close to Rajinikanth, he called Kamal his friend over the phone in order to get information about his health.

Kamal tweeted Monday that he was experiencing a mild cough following his trip to the US.On examination it turned out that he had contract Covid-19.The actor stated that he was now in isolation at a hospital and stressed that the pandemic had not gone away.

He also asked for people to remain safe.In a later statement, Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre where Kamal was admitted stated that "Sri Kamal Haasan has been admitted to SRMC with complaints of fever and lower respiratory tract infection." His Covid test was positive.
