Jaipur, Nov 30, : Rajasthan Health Minister Parsadi Lel Meena warned people that Covid-19 is still alive and is coming back in new forms.He said Tuesday that the state’s health infrastructure is being improved in order to prevent a third wave of Covid-19-infected children.
According to the health minister, experts have indicated that a third wave of Covid could impact children.In such a scenario, all children’s hospitals in the state are being upgraded to their basic infrastructure.

There are arrangements being made to provide oxygenated beds in ICUs and SNCUs.He said that the Government of India was urged to provide vaccines for children against Covid.”

He also advised people to get vaccinated as soon as they can with both doses.

People who have received the first dose of vaccine shouldn’t be negligent about getting the second.

This can be dangerous for their family, society and country.He informed that all district collectors were instructed to run a campaign to immunize those who have not received the second jab.

Due to the lack of oxygen during the second Covid Wave, more than 475 oxygen plants were installed in the state.Oxygen production can begin by the end this month.

The state government has set a goal to produce 1,000 metric tons of medical oxygen.He also said that the state government has arranged for more than 40,000 oxygen concentrators to meet any situation.

The Health Minister stated that Rajasthan is a leader in Covid management.The Prime Minister also praised Rajasthan’s Covid management.He stated that Covid isn’t gone yet.It is always back in new forms.

He appealed to the public to not forget to wear mask when going out and asked them to include social distancing and frequent hand washing in Covid behavior.

There are 187 active cases in the state as of Tuesday.100 of these are in Jaipur.

After Diwali, the state lifted restrictions on the number of guests at weddings and students in schools and colleges.

Before Diwali, there were only 50 active cases in the state.
