Babbar spoke about how actors approach their roles. He said that “Actors in the modern era are more careful with the way they prepare for the role – workshops and readings.” The rehearsals are rigorous. You have more options for specializations such as costumes, lighting, direction, etc.”

As he compares the 80s to today, he states, “In the 1980s, the families that were on the sets and the rehearsals weren’t as thorough as they were in the present day.” This was not the fault of that era, but time has brought about many improvements and we are grateful for these adjustments.

Babbar praises his co-actors on ‘Dil bekarar’.He says that “When I learned that Sahher Bambba, Akshay Oberoi, and Akshay Singh were also part of this series, I was thrilled and looking forward to work with them.” Their previous work is impressive and their energy brings a lot of joy to this project.Everyone looks at Padmini Kolhapure every time she enters the screen. Her acting skills are exceptional and will be a constant highlight of the show.”

Based on Anuja Chauhan’s book ‘Those Pricey Thakur Girls,’ the series will stream soon on Disney+ Hotstar.Produced by Sobo Films, it travels back to 1980s India when there were rapid changes.

“Dil Bekarar” is a story about a love story that leads to an ideological conflict against social, political and economic changes in Indian society.
