The largest public transport company in our country is the Indian Railways.Indian Railways regularly transports millions of people to their destinations.
In a way, it is a better transportation system for the common man.However, due to the mischief of some passengers, a big problem is coming to the railways.Their habits cost the railway system thousands of crores of rupees every year.The fact of the matter is that stains on trains and railway stations have become commonplace due to the spitting of pans, cups and tobacco on trains during train travel.
The Railway Department is taking steps to change such situations.Anyone found spitting in the vicinity of the railway station will be fined Rs 500.There is no change in some, however.
The railway department has to spend a lot to remove the stains caused by the negligent spitting of passengers.
It is estimated that the railway department spends about Rs 12,000 crore annually on this along with a huge amount of water.To this end, the Railway Department has initiated a new policy at 42 stations on the Western, Northern and Central Railways.
The Railways has entered into an agreement with Nagpur-based startup EasySpit.Under the agreement, vending machines will be set up at a total of 42 railway stations on the Western, Northern and Central railway systems.
Of these, a pouch will sell for Rs 5 to Rs 10.Travelers will have to buy these.Should be pocketed.Spit in it.These can be spit out at least 10-15 times.Also these do no harm to the environment.
The saliva in the pouch used technology to keep the bacteria out of the saliva.The spit becomes a solid substance.
When it is released, the seeds in the pouch use the nutrients in the saliva to grow into plants.Ritu Malhotra, co – founder of EzySpit, said some of the seeds in these pouches take nutrients from human saliva and grow into plants when dropped on the ground.
He said his company currently has a one-year contract with Indian Railways.It is hoped that this will help prevent spitting on trains.
