Quentin Tarantino loved ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, discussed with Tom Cruise about it

Los Angeles, Aug 5 : Maverick filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has shared his impressions of seeing the Tom Cruise-starring film "Top Gun: MaverickOn the CinemaBlends ReelBlend podcast, he said: "Normally I dont speak about new movies as much since Im forced to talk about only positive things however, in this case , I absolutely am in love with Top Gun, the Maverick film.

And he says"I know.Look, Im sure.Youre right.Thats why Ive always said "No." In all the years Ive always said "No" because of this exact reason.(but) we found the way to solve it.We came up with an excellent story." "There was this wonderful charming aspect, as I am a huge fan of both Tony Scotts films so deeply, and I love Tony so that (Top Gun: Maverick is) as close as well ever to be to seeing another Tony Scott movie," Tarantino stated "(Director Joseph Kosinski) did an amazing job.The respect and love of Tony was evident in every scene.It was in every single decision.
