New Delhi, 26 December : .Uttarakhand Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat was unhappy about the delays in construction of a Kotdwar medical college and had walked out of Cabinet Meeting.
Now, he has stated that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Singh Dhami, his younger brother is his chief minister, signaling that the leader who is a sulking dictator is now at ease.As Rawat, after having dinner on Saturday with Dhami, said that all issues seemed to be resolved at the Uttarakhand BJP.Our relationship goes back many years.Pushkar Singh Dhami is my blessing.”
Dhami shared another picture via Twitter: “Met Harak Singh Rawat, my cabinet colleague,” and said that they had discussed the current state issues over dinner.
The Congress, which is the main opposition party in the state had claimed that Rawat would be returning to its fold because he wasn’t happy with the saffron party or felt suffocated.
Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, BJP’s youth wing national secretary, and Uttarakhand in charge, took a swipe at Congress by tweeting: “Hello Congress! Stop dreaming about Uttarakhand.”We are all one.”
According to sources, Rawat has received his concerns addressed and isn’t going anywhere.
The Dhami government accepted Rawat’s proposal to establish a medical college in the Assembly constituency Kotdwar.
It was also learned that the budget for this medical college will be made public in the next few days.
Senior party officials stated that the BJP can’t afford to lose any MLA, leader or minister before the state Assembly elections.
In elections, everyone is valuable and a party can’t afford to lose an important leader such as Harak Singh when it faces a triangular battle with Congress and AAP.He said that everyone is valuable and that we won’t let anyone down.
Along with Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, the election to the 70-member Uttarakhand Assembly, will take place in February-March next year.
The BJP set a goal to win more than 60 seats at the next Assembly elections in Uttarakhand.
The BJP won 57 of the 58 seats in the 2017 Assembly elections.
