Following in the footsteps of his father Dr.Rajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar also served as the brand ambassador of the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) without any remuneration.Puneeth promoted KMF products without any contract.While Dr.Rajkumar was the brand ambassador in the 1990s, for the next ten years no one was the brand ambassador.Dr.Rajkumar promoted Nandini on behalf of the products for the benefit of the farmers.Later Puneeth Rajkumar for the farmers also signed a contract with KMF to carry on his father’s legacy.

After Rajkumars death in 2006, KMF did not have an ambassador for a few years.In 2011, KMF chairman Somasekhar Reddy requested Puneeth Rajkumar to be the joint ambassador.
