Gandhinagar : , Nov 26 : , A self-proclaimed Ramayana storyteller from Gujarat threatened Chief Minister Bhupendra Ptel with dethronement if he didn’t meet his one crore demand within eleven working days. It has been less than two months since Bhupendra Ptel took over the reigns in the home state of Prime Minster Narendra Modi.
Batuk Morari Bapu, alias Mahesh Bhagat from Banaskantha, has demanded Rs.One crore from the Gujarat Chief minister.
On Thursday, his video asking for money from Patel became viral.Mahesh requests the Chief Minister to give him the money in this video.
“I am Batuk Morari Bapu, alias Mahesh Bhagat, from Vav.Banaskantha.I am asking you to give me Rs., Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Pale.One crore in 11 days, by the fifth using whatever method you choose.If you don’t, no one from the Patel community will ever sit on that chair again and you will be killed in an accident.Today is the 25th.Please send me the money to ‘Dakshina by the 5th.” he was seen saying in the video.
“Remember that not a rupee less should reach you.Patels will then rest peacefully over Gujarat.”But if you don’t, then friend I will throw you off your throne in three months,” Mahesh added.
The video ends with Mahesh making some noise and seemingly casting a curse on the viewer.
He also included his cell phone number in his video.
It is important to note that Morari Bapu (not the one you are looking for) is a completely different Ramayana storyteller who is highly revered in the state.
