Kanpur, Nov 26th : , A probe was ordered into the leakage a document that contained details about security arrangements for President Ram Nath Kovind’s two-day visit in Kanpur. The details were discovered in some WhatsApp groups.
The document, which included details about the security, fleet, deployment and security of forces at the venues attended to by President Kovind, was distributed to senior officials.However, it was discovered in circulation via social media.
Asim Arun, Kanpur Police Commissioner, has ordered an investigation in this matter.
“The investigation was given to ADCP Traffic Rahul Mithas.
He said that the officer was asked to identify the people responsible for making the document public, as well as explore the facts and intent behind the act.
The President was in Kanpur on Wednesday, and Thursday.
The Commissionerate Police prepared a blueprint for his security prior to his arrival.
This booklet, which contains 76 pages, includes minute-to-minute protocol of the President about his fleet, force deployments at different venues, and intelligence reports.
It also included the names, titles, and contact numbers for all police officers and their roles.
This booklet also clearly stated that this document should not be shared on the internet.
