Davanagere : , Nov 26, 2012: Terming the opposition Congress letter to Governor Tavar Chand Gehlot requesting the dismissal of BJP government as absurd, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bombmai stated that, “considering Congress party’s special interests about the percentage tenders of civil works,” tenders approved during their regime would also be investigated.
After participating in the celebrations of ‘Constitution Day in Davanagere, he stated that the letter to Governor reflected the percentage culture that existed during the previous Congress regime in relation to contractors.

“It is Congress leaders who create a percentage culture.It is Congressmen who have been increasing the percentage (percentage), periodically.
