Prithviraj Sukumaran to play ‘Biscuit King’ Rajan Pillai in Hindi web series

Mumbai, Nov 30, : Yoodlee Films will produce a Hindi web series inspired by Rajan Pillais story of Indias Biscuit KingThe production house has acquired the rights for the yet-to-be titled series for which actor-director-producer Prithviraj Sukumaran will be taking the directors chair and will also essay the lead character based on Rajan.

Prithviraj talks about the project.

He says, "The existence and darkness in human life has always engaged me as an actress and director.This story has it all: ambition and success, a jetsetting lifestyle, and then a hubris induced fall that took a person from the zeniths of corporate power to the depravity and confinement of a prison cell.All this at 47 years old.He added, "Even though he died in 1995, his story serves to be a relevant example of how the effects of power and success blur the line between morality, to the current generation." It will be fascinating to learn more about this charismatic personality and to relive his complex, interesting life.
