Modi upset with having Temple for him

Supporters of the Prime Minister had built a Temple for him in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The temple, situated in Kotharia village near Rajkot, has a bust of Modi and has been constructed using donations by his supporters.

After knowing the news about Temple with his idol Modi expressed his extreme displeasure on Twitter.He appealed that such things are against our tradition.

‘’Have seen the news about a temple being built in my name.I was appalled.

This is shocking and against Indias great traditions.Building such temples is not what our culture teaches us.’’Tweeted Modi "Personally, it made me very sad.Would urge those doing it not to do it.If you have time and resources, please devote the same towards fulfilling our dream of a Clean India," the prime minister said.With Narendra Modi strongly disapproving of a temple being set up for him, the organisers in Rajkots Kothadia village have decided not to inaugurate the tmeple and will remove the idol of Modi.
