Although, home ministry has recommends for 10 days extension to the T-bill, President Pranab Mukharjee has granted only one week time for debate on the bill.
President’s office has informed the state government about the extension today morning.
Hence, State Assembly can continue its debate for one more week on the bill.Simultaneously, launching of new political party by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy or some others may be delayed for some more time.
If, the T-bill is returned to Delhi around 2nd or 3rd of February, Centre can present it in the Parliament within four or five days during vote-on-account sessions. However, it has to ensure BJP support to the bill.
But, BJP has stated that it will propose some amendments to the T-bill to safeguard the interests of residuary Andhra Pradesh state. If, Congress refuse to amend the bill BJP also may refuse to support the bill.
So, all it depends on how these two parties handle the bill.
