Police arrest 13 people for selling drugs to Afghanistan

Zaranj : Nov 29, 2009 - Police have arrested 13 people for selling illegal drugs in Zaranj.

This is Zaranjs capital of Afghanistan’s Nimroz ProvinceAccording to the official, the men were involved in selling illegal drugs such as heroin and hashish to addicts in the city.

Usmani said that Zaranj city authorities had been planning to arrest all drug-addicts and transfer them to hospitals for treatment.He also stated that the Taliban-led government would combat the production of illegal drugs until the country eliminates the drug menace.
