PM to launch BJP’s campaign in Dec for U’khand assembly elections

New Delhi, Nov 25, : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch BJPs campaign to win the Uttarakhand assembly elections in December.

Along with Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Manipur, the polls will be held next February-MarchThe Prime Minister will launch the election campaign in Decembers first week.

The Prime Minister visited Uttarakhand earlier this month, on November 5.He laid the foundation stones for several key infrastructure projects in Kedarnath.Modi also reviewed the states ongoing infrastructure work and inspect the execution.

"We are fully prepared to vote in the Assembly elections in Uttarakhand.All of us are working at the grassroots level in the state.

People will support the BJP in the State." J P Nadda, chief of BJP, was recently in Uttarakhand for a two-day review of the partys election readiness.

Nadda attended several organisational meetings to assess the situation on the ground.Nadda visited the hill state in August to assess the BJPs poll readiness.He attended about a dozen meetings.

Amit Shah, Union home minister, visited Uttarakhand last month and addressed a rally at Dehradun.Shah also reviewed preparations for a meeting at Dehraduns party state unit headquarters.
