PM to address the Constitution Day event at Central Hall of Parliament

New Delhi, Nov 24, : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be participating in the celebrations of Constitution Day this year.The programmes are being held in Parliament and Vigyan Bhavan, November 26.

It stated that the nation would join the Presidents speech Live to read the preamble of Constitution after his speech.The President will also release a digital version of the constituent assembly debates, a digital version of the calligraphed Constitution of India and an updated Constitution of India that will contain all amendments to date.

The President will also launch the Online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy.Prime Minister Modi will open the two-day Constitution Day celebrations organized by the Supreme Court in the evening at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhavan.

The event will be attended by all Supreme Court judges, Chief Justices of all High Courts and Senior-most Puisne Judges, the Solicitor General and other members the legal fraternity.The Prime Minister will also address distinguished guests.

On November 26, the nation will observe Constitution Day to mark the 1949 adoption of the Constitution of India in the Constituent Assembly.Constitution Day was established in 2015 by Prime Minister Modi as a way to recognize the historic significance of the date.
