PM says goodbye to the outgoing V-P Naiduand declares that his decision-making will be kept to be influenced by RS (Ld)

New Delhi, Aug 8 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that a number of decisions made by Vice-President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M.Venkaiah Naidu will be remembered for the climb of the House.

Modi stated that the system implemented by Vice-President, who is the ex-officio chairman of the Upper House, took the efficiency of the House to new levels.In the time of his presidency, the productivity of the House increased by 70 percent and attendance of the members increased, and a record number of bills were voted on or discussed.

This has a significant symbolic significance and provides an indication of the dawn of a new age," he said.Prime Minister Modi was reminded of the Vice Presidents consistent support for the youth of the nation in every role he played in public life.

He has always encouraged young members in the House as well."As our Vice-President, you gave an enormous amount of time to the welfare of youth.

A large portion of your programs were centered on Yuva Shakti", he added.Furthermore the Prime Minister also noted that 25 percent of the speeches delivered by the Vice President, excluding the House were given to the younger generation of the country.

In highlighting his close relationship with Naidu in different capacity, the PM acknowledged the Vice Presidents commitment to ideology as a party worker, his work as an MLA, the levels of activity as a parliamentarian and organizational abilities as President of BJP as well as his dedication and diplomacy as Minister, and his commitment and respect as Vice-President as well as the chairman of the House.The Prime Minister stated that those in the public sphere can learn many things from Naidu.

In a speech that highlighted the wit and words power of Vice President Naidu Ji, he stated: "Your every word is heard, cherished and cherished, never challenged.The one-liners of Naidu Ji are well-known.They are witliners.
