Actress Taapsee Pannu, who started her career down south and made her entry into Bollywood with the film ‘Chashme Baddoor’ has recently won the Filmfare Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor (Female) which she shared with her ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ co-actress Bhumi Pednekar for their roles in the film.This is apparently her first film fare award in her Bollywood career.
After acting in many critically acclaimed films, Taapsee finally made it to the cover page of the popular Entertainment monthly Filmfare along with other winners.She took to Instagram to share the same with her fans and posted the cover picture saying, “The only way I could make it to the Filmfare Cover….
by winning a Filmfare ! And finally….hell ya ! #Filmfare #filmfareawards”.
Ranveer, on the other hand, had bagged the trophy for the Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in ‘Gully Boy’ (2019), whereas his co-star Alia Bhatt was named the best actress for the same film.Ayushmann Khurrana had won the prestigious Black Lady in the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Critics) category for his performance in ‘Article 15’ (2019).
Taapsee is seen posing in a black designer dress alongside other winners – Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar.Taapsee and Bhumi played the roles of UP-based sharpshooters, Prakashi and Chando Tomar, respectively.
On the film front, Taapsee will next be seen in ‘Haseen Dilruba’, ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and ‘Shabash Mithu’.
