Those are times of super hits in a row in Telugu industry and Megastar Chiranjeevi became the highest remuneration hero in whole of Indian film industry by beating the likes of Amitabh Bachhan .Our Tollywood Mega Star has beaten B-Town Mega star in 1992 by taking highest remuneration of Rs.1.25 crore for a film.The Week Magazine’ published a special article about remunerations of India’s top stars in 1992 printing Chiranjeevi picture on its cover-page.Amitabh’s pay was 75 lakhs then.

Rajinikanth was second highest charging hero with 1 crore remuneration during the times.Chiranjeevi charged the gigantic amount for K Viswanath directed critically acclaimed movie Apadbhandavudu.

It is well known fact that Chiru charged Rs 8 crore for his last film Shankardada Zindabad and this figure is never heard before in TFI at that time.
