The use of a dog as a prop will convey the shocking message that animals can feel pain, emotions, and all are created from flesh and blood.

Consuming meat is eating corpses of sentient creatures who loved their lives and didn’t want to die.

Radhika Suryavanshi is Senior Campaigns Coordinator at PETA India. She stated in a press release, “PETA india encourages people who find it distasteful that dogs are eaten to refrain from eating them.” Chickens, fish, and goats are all capable of feeling pain, fear and suffering just like dogs.

Further, she stated that vegans spare nearly 200 animals from suffering each year and prevent a horrendous, untimely death in the meat, egg and dairy industries.

PETA stated that vegans have a lower risk of developing heart disease, diabetes and cancer, which are all common health issues in India.

Animal agriculture also contributes to water pollution and deforestation.A United Nations report stated that veganism is necessary in order to counter the most severe effects of climate change.

Chickens are now kept in cages that are too small to allow them to spread wings, fish are trapped or cut open when they are still breathing.Calves are taken from their mothers shortly after they are born so they can get the milk intended for them.

Animals are usually killed while conscious at the slaughterhouse.
