In Kyrgyzstan, Parliamentary Elections begin

Bishkek (Nov 28th, INANS) The Kyrgyzstan Parliamentary Elections began Sunday under the observation of 736 international observers.90 deputies were elected for a five year term.
Nurzhan Shaildabekova (the Head of the Central Election Commission in Kazakhstan), stated that 2,435 polling stations were opened in the country at 8.30 a.m.(0200 GMT), and will continue to work until 8 p.m.(0400 GMT).In 29 other countries, another 59 polling stations will be opened.

According to Xinhua news agency, the deputies will be elected using a mixed electoral system.54 of them will be elected by proportional systems from political parties and 36 others from single-mandate constituencies.

Twenty-one political parties were officially registered to vote in the election, and more than 280 candidates were registered for single-mandate constituencies.

According to the CEC head, 3,703,420 people will vote to elect the political parties and 3,619.292 will vote in single-mandate constituencies.

The Interior Ministry stated earlier that 11,000 police officers would deploy to ensure security and public order at polling stations.
