Panneerselvam’s police request for protection is rejected

Chennai 10th September : Chennai, Sep 10 : Greater Chennai police have rejected the request of removed AIADMK coordinator O.Panneerselvam (OPS) for security to be provided by the police to access the partys headquarters in the city.

Following the visit of Palaniswami following his visit, the OPS faction announced that Panneerselvam will also be making a visit to the partys head office.D.Jayakumar, former minister and close associate of EPS Later, he filed an application with the Chennai police alleging that OPS was removed from the party, and he shouldnt be permitted access to the AIADMK headquarters.The police of the city have issued a directive to OPS not to go into the partys headquarters at the moment because he could be subject to physical assault.

The police also stated that he could be granted security only after having assessed the law and the order situation.aal/ .
