Gurrappas son Murali, a resident of Damalacheruvu Panchayati Bandakadapally, Chandragiri constituency, Chittoor district, was asleep at midnight on Tuesday when his mother appeared from Vadlamuta due to noise in the house.

On the occasion, villagers Gurrappa, Geeta and Chinnakka said that the amamvaru had appeared to Murali at midnight on Tuesday and told her to build a temple in the village and worship the goddess on a daily basis so that the people of the village would be kept cool.
