Pamela Satpathy has been appointed as Yadadri Bhuvanagiri Collector.Anita Ramachandran, who is the current Collector in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, has been transferred.
Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has issued orders related to this.Pamela Satpathy is currently the Warangal Municipal Commissioner.
Satpathy, who took over as Warangal Commissioner in December 2019, has left a lasting impression in terms of Warangal development.
Most of the IAS officers who worked as commissioners for the Warangal Municipal Corporation were being posted as collectors.This has been proved in many cases.The same happened in the case of Pamela Satpathy.She has served as the sixth woman commissioner of the GWMC.In 1995, Shalini Mishra served as the first woman IAS Commissioner for two years, followed by Neetu Prasad, Smita Sabharwal, Vakati Karuna and Shruti Ojha.
Pamela Satpathy, who belongs to the 2015 IAS Batch, has been appointed as the first posting as Bhadrachalam Sub-Collector.There she worked for 19 months.
Later, she continued as the Executive Officer of Bhadrachalam Temple for three months and now she has been appointed as the district collector of the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district.
