Pakistani Prime Minister reaffirms his commitment to children’s rights

Islamabad : Nov 20, 2010 - Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan reaffirmed Saturday his governments determination to protect childrens rights in Pakistan and provide a brighter future for all children.

Khan stated, "On this Day, lets reaffirm the pledge to protect childrens rights in Pakistan and give them equal chances to be productive citizens of Pakistan." According to him, the governments current administration has taken several steps to protect childrens rights in the country.

He mentioned the creation of a national child rights commission and the addition of child protection institutes.Also, various laws are being put into place to eradicate child labor.
